Job Requirements for Bartenders Position
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following:

- 1+ year of bartending experience in a fast-paced or upmarket venue
- Confident cocktail-making skills and broad beverage knowledge
- Ability to maintain speed, accuracy, and professionalism during peak hours
- Great communication and teamwork
- A friendly, energetic attitude and polished presentation
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and live event nights
Responsibilities for Bartenders Position
- Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including signature cocktails
- Follow standard recipes while adding your personal flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor stock and communicate supply needs
- Interact positively with customers, creating a memorable experience
- Work collaboratively with floor and kitchen staff
- Participate in themed nights, events, and music sessions
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of tabs and cash handling
- Assist with set-up and breakdown before and after service
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and responsible service policies
- Train and support junior bar staff if required
- Provide suggestions to improve drink offerings or seasonal menus
