Farm Technician – Vittoria, ON
Description
With continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is hiring a Farm Technician in our Maintenance department in Vittoria, ON. This position is ideal for organized individuals who are passionate about mechanics and want to develop their trade skills. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining farm equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance. Responsibilities include servicing forklifts, John Deere tractors, attachments, harvesters, packing lines, and other machinery used for various crops. Duties also cover preventative maintenance, answering service calls in the field, and maintaining automated packing lines and conveyer belts.
Summary
Location: Vittoria, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am–5pm, every other Saturday 7am–12pm (on-call during harvest)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience with farm machinery (welding, hydraulics, tractors, forklifts, harvesters)
