Pāmu – Landcorp is seeking a motivated Dairy Assistant Production Manager to join the team at Bounty Dairy, located just ten minutes from Taupo. This is a full-time, permanent role where you’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to step up into leadership while working on one of New Zealand’s leading farms.

Job Requirements

Experience in a similar role or as a Dairy Farm Assistant ready to step up

Skills in pasture management, feed planning, and general farm operations

Confidence riding two-wheel motorbikes
-
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Proactive attitude towards health, safety, and farm compliance

ITO Level 2 qualification (preferred)

Restricted or full driver’s licence

Legal right to work in New Zealand (permanent roles only)
Responsibilities

Support feed planning and pasture management to achieve production targets

Lead milking operations and maintain high hygiene standards

Monitor animal health and assist with rearing young stock

Manage effluent systems and ensure environmental compliance

Coach junior staff and support daily farm operations
-
Step in for the Production Manager when required
