Requirements

• No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required
• 1 to less than 2 years of serving or food service experience
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons warmly, present menus, and seat guests as needed
• Describe menu items including daily specials with enthusiasm and knowledge
• Advise customers on menu selections and make personalized recommendations
• Answer questions regarding food and beverages, including ingredients and preparation methods
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers
• Relay orders efficiently to kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs between guests
• Assist clients and guests with special needs or dietary requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
