Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 to less than 3 years of professional cooking experience
- English language proficiency

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to high standards
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train staff in proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Order supplies and equipment, managing procurement efficiently
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, coordinating daily operations
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met
- Recruit and hire kitchen staff as needed
- Manage overall kitchen operations including scheduling, workflow, and quality control
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste
- Develop and maintain menu standards
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously during busy service periods
