Responsibilities

- Conduct daily equipment checks, perform basic maintenance, and ensure all machinery is compliant with safety regulations and Workplace Liability Insurance requirements.
- Report mechanical problems promptly to the supervisor or on-site mechanic for timely repairs.
- Assist with general farm duties during peak seasons, including irrigation, livestock support, or crop handling.
- Maintain accurate machinery logs and work reports using digital tools such as Payroll Software or farm-management systems.
- Support international team members working under the Accredited Employer Work Visa pathway by following compliance-ready operational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating agricultural or heavy machinery in a farm or industrial environment.
- Understanding of machinery safety procedures, farm operations, and equipment care.
- Valid driver’s license or machinery operator certification, with additional Online Certification or Agricultural Training Courses seen as an advantage.
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic awareness of administrative processes such as Banking Setup, International Money Transfer, or Tax Return Filing, especially helpful for international workers relocating to New Zealand.
