Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a roofer
• All aspects of roofing experience preferred, with specific focus on:
  • Installing and repairing flashing
  • Concrete roofing materials including tiles and slabs
• Active roofing licenses and certificates are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Experience handling and operating power and hand tools safely
• Ability to work long hours when required
• Physically fit with strong body capable of heavy lifting
• Great attitude and strong work ethic
• Own reliable transportation
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Must pass Ministry of Justice background check
• 2 work-related references required
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa (essential)

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofs made of various materials
• Specialize in flashing installation and repairs to ensure waterproofing
• Work with concrete roofing materials including tiles and slabs, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed
• Execute roofing projects to the highest quality standards
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain safety standards on all job sites
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and prospective customers
• Perform quality checks on completed work
• Handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow project specifications and building codes
